Please bring in your child's hat and drink bottle. Drink bottles go on the drinks trolley in the foyer, and hats go in the hat pockets ready for outdoor play. Signing in You will be given a code to open our door using the electronic lock. Sign your child in on the iPad in the foyer using the Xplor app, which you should already have downloaded. Simply scan the QR code. An educator will be happy to help you with this. Saying goodbye Always say "Goodbye" or "See you in the afternoon", no matter how tempting it is to sneak out the door. It is important that children develop a sense of trust and learn that you will always come back to pick them up. Our educators are more than happy to help you with leaving an upset child. If your child becomes too distressed, we will call you so you can come back, however every attempt will be made to settle your child into preschool life. Settling in You are welcome to call us as often as you wish to check that your child has settled. You may also like to arrange an earlier collection for the first few days to help with settling. Preschool is a new experience and, like any other, it takes a while to get used to. If you approach it in a positive way, it is more than likely that preschool will be a positive experience.
